CEO Chamonix Yachts
Born and raised in Argentina, Married to Paola, and dad to Amelia.
I dreamed early on of achieving something greater, something that would lead me far from the streets of my small hometown. At 21, with just $600 to my name, and no English, I embarked on an incredible journey to the United States.
Those early days were full of challenges. I worked various jobs, including valet parking attendant, tour guide, mobile car wash owner, real estate agent, and credit card salesperson. In 2011, Fate presented me with the opportunity of a lifetime: The chance to purchase a boutique boat detailing business in Miami.
It wasn't easy! I worked 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week. I had loans to pay off and was not generating income yet, so my wife initially supported us.
From those humble beginnings, I transformed that small detailing company into Chamonix Yachts, a titan of the S. Florida marine industry. My company has grown exponentially through sheer grit and relentless perseverance, expanding a staggering 62 times from its original size!
Chamonix Yachts is now one of S. Florida's premier marine centers, with state-of-the-art dockage, expert brokerage services, and comprehensive yacht management solutions. Our marina features an impressive capacity, with 200 in-water slips and 40 dry dock slips. We accommodate vessels up to 150 feet in water and up to 40 feet on land, ensuring we meet the needs of recreational & commercial vessels of various sizes.
I am passionate about life, I practice MMA, do cold plunges, going to meditation retreat on monthly base, and practice meditation on daily basis., last year I took a sabbatical and drove my motorcycle from my home in Davie, to Ushuaia in Argentina (The most southern city in the world), I spend my Fridays with Amelia, our 4 year old daughter,
I have a few principles I live my life based on, "Be the change you want to see in the world", "In order to live the dream, you have to dream the life",
Favorite poem: "Our Biggest Fear", by Marianne Williamson; and "The man in the arena" by Theodore Roosevelt.
Life is an adventure. In my early years, I worked in tourism, and I learned that in a journey, there 2 type of travelers, the ones who go to have fun, and the one who go to see if they will have fun, I have applied this rule for everything in my life.
Thank you for having me.
